Senior Account Director- Channel Sales

Founded in 1997 as a wholesale provider of data network services, Nitel recently deployed a nationwide IP network, which has greatly expanded our opportunity within the carrier marketplace.

Responsibilities

We are in search of experienced sales professionals who are hungry to ignite their income and share their passion for success. Senior Account Directors will be responsible for building and developing relationships with telecom carriers and service providers to deliver value through Nitel's wholesale private line, Ethernet, MPLS, Internet, and voice offerings.

Ideal Qualities of a Senior Account Director

We are the best at what we do, and our team members need to be the best as well. Candidates must have deep marketplace knowledge, industry contacts, and a track record of success.

  • Ideal candidates will possess the following qualities and experience:
  • 7+ years of telecom sales experience with at least 2 years in the wholesale marketplace
  • Working technical knowledge of NNI, MPLS, VPLS, point to point, Ethernet, tandem networks, IP transit and SIP trunking technologies
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Proven top performer with a record of exceeding sales quotas
  • Overwhelming desire to succeed and ability to work independently
  • Strong strategic selling skills
  • Tenacious, hard working attitude
  • Marketplace expert who is well-connected in the industry
  • Proven ability to develop and manage customer relationships
  • Strong persuasive communication skills
  • International experience is a plus
